"General Hospital" will be preempted on Friday, December 16, 2016. ABC will be airing President Obama's final scheduled press conference of the year. GH will air a new episode on December 23 instead of a rerun for this reason.

B&B: Another Regime Change at Forrester Creations

The reigns have changed again at Forrester Creations, as Eric (John McCook) has stepped down as head of the company. Below are my thoughts about this development.

Joe Mascolo Passed Away

Earlier today, (September 28, 2016), the news was released that soap creator Agnes Nixon passed away at 93. The writer and creator of many daytime soaps was in the industry from the radio era having a career for over seven decades.

In frustrating soap opera news, the UK soaps "Coronation Street" and "Hollyoaks" are no longer getting updated episodes on Hulu.

Days Leaving Pop

Earlier this week, Pop aired a banner during "Days of Our Lives" advising that they're pulling the show. It won't be on anymore on their channel effective the week of April 17, 2016 as it has been eliminated from website listings.

Y&R: Victor Found Guilty

This week on "The Young and the Restless", Victor Newman was found guilty for his crimes. The character was sentenced to ten years in prison. While I don't believe the character will be locked away that long as Eric Braeden isn't leaving the program, I hope the businessman does spend some time behind bars.

I was looking at Hulu and discovered the following note: "Hulu no longer receives current episodes of Home and Away on a weekly basis." All of the 2015 episodes are posted (230 in total), but nothing new has been added in 2016.

B&B: Liam & Quinn

Unlike many of my posts, this one is a full on rant. I just can't abide by Liam (Scott Clifton) and Quinn (Rena Sofer). This is not judgment on the performance skills of the actors, but on their current plot-line on "The Bold and the Beautiful".
