B&B: Brooke & Bill's Wedding & the Forrester Shares

On "The Bold and the Beautiful", the Halloween show had the last of Bill (Don Diamont) and Brooke's (Katherine Kelly Lang) wedding. Below are my thoughts on this development.

We all know it was the annual B&B Halloween episode as they had a party at Bikini Bar with cast in costumes, and the bats in the opening credits. That said, the main attraction was Bill calling off his marriage to Brooke. He couldn't take second place to Ridge's (Thorsten Kaye) interruption before the ceremony. Also he now know the real reason that Brooke wanted to wed, the shares of Forrester Creations she planned to give to Ridge.

It will be interesting to see how everyone reacts to Bill's decision. The fact that Brooke actually wanted to marry Bill for love, but get a payday out of it was a change for her. This is a betrayal on a huge scale of Eric (John McCook) as she had to know how Ridge would use them against the Forrester Patriarch and her former husband.

After Halloween, Wyatt (Darrin Brooks) shared the cunning plan with his stepfather. Eric was devastated, and was even more determined to let Wyatt and his wife Quinn (Rena Sofer) be in charge of the company. So everything backfired. I find that to be a great thing. Why because conflict is good especially if it has nothing to do with a romantic triangle or a baby? B&B needs stories about the characters being a dysfunctional family as nearly everyone is related in the LA that we know and sometimes love.
