Wikipedia Ranking Applied to Soaps

This was inspired by a "Radio Times" article about television shows in general that I saw on a "Doctor Who" fan site. As this is a soap blog, I did the research for the genre of soap operas. The results are based on worldwide answers and include both daytime and nighttime series that may or may not air in the United States.

Soaps & the 8 Deadly Words

"I don't care what happens to these people." are the eight deadly words (for more information see tvtropes.org for the historical usage.) While this originally comes from the world of science fiction, it can be applied to soap operas.

A Bit about Shipping

Confession time: I'm a bit of a shipper. From reading my blog you may not notice it, but I've been doing it from a very early age. If you've never really invested in a couple (whether is it from a soap or another genre) there are some things you don't understand, but that's okay.

Tensions were boiling over within the General Hospital fan base online with the recent firing of Kelly Sullivan as Connie on the program. I wanted to touch upon it on my blog.
