I'm continuing my feature on Agnes Nixon's Memoir "My Life to Live" that she wrote shortly before her death. Below are my thoughts on chapters eight through ten.

Agnes Nixon has Died

Earlier today, (September 28, 2016), the news was released that soap creator Agnes Nixon passed away at 93. The writer and creator of many daytime soaps was in the industry from the radio era having a career for over seven decades.

Soap Stars in Other Places: Hollywood Squares 1979

Another classic game show that includes soap stars is posted on YouTube. This video is from December 4, 1979 and aired originally on NBC. The majority of the stars were on that network at the time. 

Soap Stars in Other Places: Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour

There is an episode online from the week where NBC soap stars appeared on the Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour. Celebrity cast members from Another World, Days or Our Lives, and Search for Tomorrow were on the panel.

Soap Stars in Other Places: Go from 1983

As part of promoting their soap operas, actors from NBC daytime appeared on Go. It was an NBC game show that aired for a few months from the fall of 1983 until January 1984 and hosted by Kevin O'Connell. On YouTube.com there are some clips available for viewing.
