AMC: Thoughts on Episode 10

Here are my thoughts and a brief summary about episode ten (May 14, 2013) of All My Children.

JR tells AJ he is in the wrong room. He runs out and is upset. Then it dawns on JR that it was AJ. Dixie comes in and JR tells her what happened. When we next see AJ he is already gone from the hospital. AJ does a glassware toss. Miranda comes in after getting a text from AJ. He tells Miranda how JR didn't recognize him. Miranda tells him that she will set JR straight if he doesn't realize how great his son is and they share a hug.

David goes into JR's room as the guard is away with Dixie. He tells JR that he needs to do what he just did which was be in prison for a long stint for murdering his daughter. David tells JR what happened to Marissa as he has no memory. JR asks if what David said is true. Cara is there checking on JR as a doctor.  JR says that if anyone had done to AJ what happened to Marissa he would have done the same thing. He apologizes to David. David says that JR will get what is coming to him.

Cass throws clothing on the floor. She is told that it is showtime and another girl was threatened. Sinnamon meets Zach. Cassandra is forced to drink more vodka. Zach goes backstage before Cassandra goes on stage. Cassandra is being taunted as she is on the stage and not moving. She's wearing a police cap and eventually she starts taking things off to keep the other girl safe.  Zach asks Sinnamon if she knows anyone that is new and "chocolate" that he'd like to break her in and Sinnamon puts a tie around his neck. Zach says he hopes they get further next time, and Sinnamon says to run something for prints. Of course, by the time Zach comes out again, Cassandra is gone.

Jesse tells Angie more about the girl he and Zach rescued. We find out her name is Amy and she is scared they will hurt her family. Jesse shows Amy the photo of Cassandra and she has no idea who she is. When alone, Amy tells Angie that if they have Cassandra it is already too late. David runs into Angie, and she shares what happened to Cassandra. David wants to help her and is concerned about Angie. David gives Jesse a talking to mentioning Jesse's earlier lies to Angie. And that Angie deserves a whole letter better. Angie is sitting by Amy's bedside and Jesse tries to comfort her.

General thoughts about the episode:

Since I've seen the opening credits I know that Sinnamon is really Lea and that she is more than what she seems. JR's personality is different than before let's see if it is temporary or if he is lying. Cara had a blink and you missed it appearance. Cass stayed very clothed for being a stripper, which surprised me as I thought they were going to be wilder with those kinds of things. It is good that Angie has a friend in David, but sad that David is the only person she has to talk to right now in Pine Valley.
