AMC: Thoughts on Episode 6

Here are my thoughts and a brief summary about episode six (May 7, 2013) of All My Children.

Adam and Bianca talk about Miranda's bullying. Bianca thanks AJ for standing up for Miranda. Adam tells AJ that he's been suspended. He goes off on his grandfather, and after walking out Adam says he's got spirit. Miranda wakes up in AJ's room. Miranda apologizes to her mother crying and telling her that she didn't mean it. Miranda wants to go to Bramwell Hall, but AJ doesn't want to be left behind as they are in it together.

Brooke goes to see Celia to drop off a flash drive and sees all of the flowers from Pete. Pete is with his friend Dylan in Jane's Addiction. He sees Celia outside with Brooke and invites her on a second date. She is happy and nothing is going to ruin this, right. Dylan thinks Celia is a little young and she overhears that. As Dylan asks about having sex with her and using her. Celia doesn't hear Pete say that he likes her and thinks she is special and isn't just using her for sex.

Zach and Jesse talk again. Jesse says how ICE knows about drugs, but not human trafficking.Vlad and Cassandra and she is still resisting. Outside the room, Vlad is with his boss Uri. Uri says don't deal with the merchandise. Cassandra takes one of the pills that Vlad gave to her. Once she's hooked on drugs, she'll do what they want. Jesse is trying to look for a pattern to the missing girls. Jesse met a mom of a missing girl and others, which wasn't any help.

Dixie wakes up at JR's bedside, and Joe comes in coffee. Tad is away on assignment, but he and Dixie are still together. Joe wishes he would hear from his son soon. Adam is going off on JR and talking about how he is a failure. Adam is worried about David coming after AJ and doesn't seem to care about JR due to everything that happened. Chandler was in shambles after what happened. Adam says to JR that he loves him and always will. Dixie and Adam walk out before they can hear that JR said "Dad."

General thoughts about the episode:

I liked AJ's alarm on his phone as that was a realistic sound. Miranda and Bianca as they were both calmer than the night before had a real conversation about their situation. They reached common ground, and I enjoyed that. Adam liking that AJ had spirit made sense, as Adam would always fight for what he wanted. We now have some idea what Tad is doing, though being undercover it could be anything. Glad that Joe and Dixie were allowed to interact. My favorite part of the episode was seeing how much material they gave David Canary as Adam, as he was allowed to show more than one kind of emotion.
