AMC: Thoughts on Episode 11

Here are my thoughts and a brief summary about episode eleven (May 15, 2013) of All My Children.

AJ is holding the baseball again and Miranda is there. Dixie comes in and tells him that his dad wants to make it right. His grandmother explains how JR did recognize him, but wasn't able to get out of his hospital bed. Miranda comes with AJ and Dixie to the hospital though she stays in the hallway. JR apologizes for not knowing who his son was and how he took away the only mother that AJ remembers. AJ becomes frustrated and leaves. JR admits to Dixie that his son AJ doesn't trust him.

Opal wonders why Pete has a scratch on his face. She blames Celia, but then he explains what happened with the trellis. Opal is concerned when she hears about Celia's guardian, but Pete vows to not worry about that. Opal goes to see Evelyn and fills her in about the trellis. Celia is with Brooke and tells her how she has been sneaking out of Bramwell Hall to see Pete. Pete saw Brooke for business, and interrupts them. Brooke leaves awkwardly so Pete and Celia can speak alone. Opal says that she will help pay to fix the trellis. Evelyn has a surprise for Celia that she has to pack to leave.

Angie is at Amy's bedside again wanting information. Amy tells her that they were taken around in trucks that were like moving vans and she'd seldom see the daylight. Jesse gets her to give more details and finds out about the train sound. Uri is with Cassandra and gives her another pill, which she spits out of her mouth, and we hear the train. Zach is filling Jesse in about what happened at the club. Sinnamon comes in and announces that her name is Lea and she's with the FBI. He is under arrest. She wants to arrest Zach for money laundering, but Jesse says check in with DC as this is now about the Koslovs sex trafficking, so Zach is freed. The episode ends with Cassandra in a room with Marvin. She is injected with drugs and wearing lingerie.

General thoughts about the episode:

Opal interfering in Pete's life and messing up his relationship with Celia was amusing. I liked that they finally had someone else interact with Evelyn, that said Opal may have interacted with Kelly way back, so it would have been fun if Opal said that she looked familiar. Cassandra's situation is still disturbing as I believe they intend it to be. Considering that both JR and AJ are played by actors who are new to AMC their scenes together were good.
