Here are my thoughts and a brief summary about episode twelve (May 16, 2013) of All My Children.
Celia tells Evelyn it is not a good time to go to Europe as she is falling in love. Celia apologizes for not telling her sooner. Evelyn and Celia have to leave tonight. When Evelyn leaves, Celia throws a vase at a wall. Pete and Celia are on the phone and he says that she isn't going anywhere without him. Evelyn comes in and Celia is packed. The chauffeur is here and it is Pete, which Evelyn doesn't realize. He drops Evelyn's passport on purpose. Celia and Pete run to his porsche and leave Bramwell Hall together as Evelyn stands on the steps with her passport in hand.
Pete is trying to relaunch a company, and the one thing of value is its name Cortlandt Electronics. Frank wishes him luck and says that he needs an angel to fund this project. David says he can help Pete financially. He needs a new start since he can't practice medicine. The conversation ends and we don't know if Pete will take David's money.
Brooke and Dixie talk about JR and bringing him into the living room. JR is with Cara and he is ready to check out of the hospital. They speak about David. Brooke and Dixie are now with JR at the hospital and Brooke mentions that Adam sends his love. Adam is away rebuilding the company as JR had bankrupted the company. Brooke explains how she is now in charge of Chandler and that per Adam that is her job. JR tells Cara that he knows that she didn't have a miscarriage or abortion, but that she is hiding her child from David.
Cassandra is freaking out and Uri is trying to calm her down as they want to film her having sex with Marvin. He says imagine someone you want to sleep with like your boyfriend or a celebrity. Then he said imagine you are in a room with Vlad and no one can hear you scream. The video is over and Cassandra is crying on the bed. She is told she must try harder next time or they will make a snuff film. Jesse figures out it is either Rosemont or Center City where the train is going. Vlad and Uri talk about some old time pimp in Center City, Ruby Marie is talking to a Sister Mosley and a man gives him money. We see Billy Clyde Tuggle and he says he rules this bar.
Bianca is trying to make Miranda feel better and Miranda gets frustrated with her mom.Then Miranda shares the news about JR waking up to Bianca. Bianca gets upset that JR doesn't remember and mentions how JR always gets what he wants. Miranda tells Bianca that she isn't going to bail on AJ even though his father killed Marissa. David sees Bianca upset over Marissa. They start talking about Marissa and how she love days like this one in late Spring. He admits that he is a first class son of a *****.
General thoughts about the episode:
This seemed like a good end of week episode as there were cliffhangers. We had Pete and Celia leaving together, Cara finding out that JR knows what she did to David, and the return of Billy Clyde Tuggle (Matthew Cowles). I liked this episode, but having Adam missing annoyed me even if there was an on screen reason why he wasn't there.
