Here are my thoughts and a brief summary about episode six (May 7, 2013) of One Life to Live.
Rama and Vimal are in their home and it is evident that he feels worried and jealous about her working at Shelter. She's getting ready to go and changing into her outfit. Matthew and Michelle are on Facebook again. Cutter announces Nervo. Jamie comes to get money from Cutter he is an art dealer in Miami. Rama is serving drinks. Matthew is now back at the club, as are Dani and Destiny. Dani is with a guy who wants to give her X. Jeffrey is working for the Banner in the club.
At the garret, Bo and Nora are alone together. Nora says she didn't think she'd have to do all-nighters since she left law school and they kiss. Nora mentions having a late night radio show while in college. Bo picks up his phone and calls Nora's phone. She is acting like a DJ and she says things like tell me all about it big boy. He makes a comment about how he'd like to have sex in the backseat of a squad car and mentions the use of handcuffs.
We go back to Todd pouring another drink. Dani comes home, and Victor and Tea are waiting up for her. Tea says she wants to kill herself if she lost another child. Victor does a test to prove that Dani is sober. Tea and Victor kiss once Dani leaves the room and they decide to go to bed.
Jeffrey gets into VIP with a press pass, as Matthew can't get in on the Buchanan name. Dani gets tossed out of VIP due to Matthew's interruption. Jamie introduces himself to Rama. He wants Rama's number, and tells Rama that Cutter will even up his slate if she spends a night with him. Cutter tells Jamie that Rama isn't for sale. He gives Jamie all the money he owes. Destiny comes over and asks Matthew to dance with her. She then pushes him away, after she says do you know what's next not you.
The episode ends in a montage to "I've Got You Babe", by Sonny and Cher. The following is shown while the song is playing. Bo and Nora are on the floor. Matthew goes to Facebook to talk to Michelle. Rama goes home to Vimal, and goes into bed spooning him in her underwear. Victor and Tea are in bed, and she gets up looking at him, We then see Todd toasting and drinking up the rest of his glass. He sits on the sofa, and drops the glass. As it ends, we see Victor asleep in his bed.
General thoughts about this episode:
The timing of the episode seemed off as the end of Monday's episode had Todd drinking in his hotel room. This continued today, and in that time Dani was able to eat dinner with Tea and Jack, go home and change, go out again and return home. When Napa and a family vineyard was mentioned, I thought of Nash and then remembered he was dead. Nervo and Riff Raff as Jamie were the guest stars, though Nervo only performed and didn't act. I felt that the new actors playing Destiny and Matthew (Laura Harrier and Robert Gorrie) had sexual chemistry in their dancing scene, but what was inferred about their relationship is very different than the history we saw between Destiny and Matthew. They didn't conceive baby Drew out of lust or love, but due to her comforting him.
