AMC: Thoughts on Episode 14

Here are my thoughts and a brief summary about episode fourteen (May 22, 2013) of All My Children.

Celia has a disturbing nightmare and hears he is always right behind you from a disturbing looking little girl. Pete tells Celia where she is and not to worry. Her cellphone starts beeping due to the texts that Evelyn has been sending. They went out and when they are back they kiss again. Evelyn goes to see Opal, because Celia has gone missing, as Pete took her to New York City. They then go to search Celia's room. Evelyn finds the iPad that Pete left for Celia and says that Pete was the problem.

Brooke is on the phone talking to Adam. She tells him that she will find out soon enough if JR is lying about his memory loss. Brooke is surprised that JR wants to go to the board meeting and tells him that Adam doesn't want him to be there.  JR is working really hard with Cara in physical therapy. He falls down and is frustrated it isn't going faster. JR tells Cara that she is a reminder of the company's uglier days so he isn't going to the meeting.

Miranda comes to the Chandlers so they can go on the bus together. They talk about the kiss, and Miranda doesn't want to screw things up as they are like family. AJ says no worries and its cool. Hunter threatens AJ and Miranda when they at school. AJ and Kyle are wearing baseball uniforms. The team is the Titans and Kyle suggests he uses steroids like the rest of the team. Miranda shares how study hall was stressful, while AJ looks at the steroids again.

Cassandra is told she needs to be ready all night. While Tia is brushing her hair, she explains how her dad is chief of police in Pine Valley. Angie is sleeping holding a picture of Cassandra. Jesse wakes her up mentioning how he say a ghost. Billy Clyde comes to the Hubbard home, and Angie accuses him of having Cassandra. He says that he could help. Vlad comes in and tells Cassandra he wants to play games. Tia whispers to Vlad that she has news, and Vlad takes her away. Tia then speaks to Uri with Vlad there, and Uri slaps Vlad for kidnapping Cassandra and not a French national. Uri says we have to get rid of Cassandra immediately. Eileen tells her to take the pills, Cassandra says she won't take them until they kill her or she kills them. Ruby helps Billy Clyde by coaching her and then Jesse asks her questions. Angie confronts Billy Clyde and tells him that if she has Cassandra she'll toss them into the river and he won't survive this time.

General thoughts about the episode:

I was glad for the closed captioning on this episode as I don't know the names of the girls that are being held with Cassandra. Seeing Angie go off on Billy Clyde was entertaining, as he may not be a Russian, but he still is a pimp.  The line from Kyle about how the others started using steroids two months ago, well is only the baseball team doping and not the soccer one, which is how AJ had no idea.
