Thoughts on Episode 6 of Dirty Soap

Here is my post about the sixth episode of Dirty Soap on E!

Kelly Monaco (Sam on GH) was figuring out how to deal with her extreme skinniness. Eighteen hour days and not much food left her slightly over 90 pounds. She spoke with her co-star Steve Burton (Jason) and his friend who helped her re-imagine her diet. With a group of her friends, she went to a cooking class, where they had some wine and some high protein tofu. Kelly was going to do a photo shoot for Self magazine which is a fitness publication. She’d go to three different dance classes and they would take pictures at each of them. This was successful, though we didn’t see the final photographs on this episode.

Nadia Bjorlin (former Chloe on Days of Our Lives) and her live-in boyfriend Brandon Beemer (Owen B&B) had to deal with her Fary again. In some ways it seems, like Fary is one of the stars of the show and she is very interesting and opinionated. Early in the episode, there was a mom reunion as Nadia and Farah Fath (Gigi on One Life to Live) were together along with their moms who hadn’t seen each other in ten years. Farah seems to really like Fary, but it is different dealing, with that if it is your mother who says things that you feel are embarrassing. Nadia and Brandon were going to also be in a magazine, for a tour of their home. InTouch was going to be there in less than two days to photograph their place. Fary thought their home design sucked, though she did like Brandon’s choice of couch. As Fary was a designer, obviously she had opinions on it. Nadia called Michelle who was a decorator that helped with the rest of the house. In a store, Fary criticized Michelle and it was very awkward. The photo shoot ended well, but it was decided when it comes to house décor it is the eye of the beholder.

Farah Fath and her boyfriend John-Paul Lavosier (Rex on OLTL) had to deal with serious issues in this episode. Farah went to get a check-up and they found pre-cancerous cells on her cervix during a pap smear. The couple went back to New York City for her to get surgery. Since it was found so early, Farah should be just fine. This derailed her plans to look into donating eggs to her best friend Danny. As a gay man, Danny obviously cannot have a biological child without some help. Due to Farah’s health, this situation is up in the air for now.

Galen Gering (Rafe on Days) and his wife Jenna had to deal with regular domestic life. Galen took their older son Dillon to karate. At the class, Galen had to be told not to interact with his son to praise him until afterwards. When they got home, they tried to show off what was learned. Galen even got the boys to break a board, but their younger son flipped out and started to cry. Later Dillon destroyed one of Jensen’s toys and Jenna had to mom not only her sons but Galen creating a new role of no karate in the house.

Those are the highlights of the most recent episode of Dirty Soap. Kirsten Storms (Maxie on GH) was still off screen hopefully she will be well soon.
