Thoughts on Episode 4 of Dirty Soap

Here is my post about the fourth episode of Dirty Soap on E!

This week on Dirty Soap, we finally find out what happened to Kirsten Storms and why she isn’t currently playing Maxie on General Hospital. She is ill with endometriosis. This news came out on the show when Farah Fath (Gigi on One Life to Live) called Tiffini (who is the mother of Kirsten’s brother’s daughter Kennedy). Tiffini was short with Farah, but considering the issues that Kirsten and Farah have that was understandable. While this was not at the opening of the show, it was the most significant information in it. Farah’s mom also visited with her.

Galen Gering (Rafe on Days of our Lives) and his wife Jenna had a party at their house. Farah along with her boyfriend John-Paul (Rex on One Life to Live), Nadia Bjorlin (former Chloe on Days) and Brandon Beemer (Owen on Bold & the Beautiful) attended. We also saw Mark Hapka (who was Nathan on Days) and Ashley Jones (a B&B alum among other projects like True Blood). They showed a moment of a drinking game and Farah and JP with Galen and Jenna’s little boy Jensen.

Otherwise Jenna thought about wanting to have another child. She wanted a girl this time and what would need to be done medically to choose the sex. The situation at the doctor was awkward especially when Galen went to the bathroom and some adult entertainment was played in the lavatory. At this point, it looks like they are going to wait as they discussed it walking in the hills with their dog.

There was also a photo shoot done for Dirty Soap to create the promotional pictures. The entire cast was together for that day. This is where Kirsten was acting oddly and was very quiet. Kelly Monaco (Sam on GH) wanted to help her, but it wasn’t shown on screen that she knew what was happening with her co-star.

Nadia’s job in a movie along with Brandon getting a gig as a runway model clashed. Nadia had work in Los Angeles, and while she was able to go to New York City, she had to leave before the fashion show. This was for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and Brandon was walking for Perry Ellis. He had to walk in a full outfit and in swim trunks. He and JP hung out in Central Park, and JP talked about how he wouldn’t be able to smell certain smells from the horses in California. They ran together, and Brandon made JP try a model walk to humorous effect. Brandon’s fashion show was successful, and was a good opportunity. Nadia and Brandon talked about how busy both of them have been which has limited their time together. They agreed to take the time to go out on dates.

Those were the highlights of the fourth episode of Dirty Soap. While it was good to see people interacting on both coasts, what happened to Kirsten put a damper on the fun factor.
