This is my summary of episode five of Dirty Soap on E! This episode did not include Galen Gering (Rafe on Days), his wife Jenna or Kirsten Storms (Maxie on GH).
Kelly Monaco (Sam on General Hospital) went back to Pennsylvania and saw her family and friends. She also saw her former love Mike, with whom she had a long-term relationship that became toxic. Kelly and her mom also talked about her weight, as she is really skinny at the present time. Kelly told her family that things have to change with their relationship with Mike too.
Farah Fath (Gigi on One Life to Live) and her love John-Paul Lavosier went to Kentucky to visit her family. We saw JP on the golf course with her Dad, and Farah interacting with various relatives. They are all trying to pressure JP into proposing marriage to Farah, as people tend to get married earlier there. Later, a fan of Farah’s named Elena (that’s what it sounded like) who is also a Nadia fan saw a picture of Farah and JP on Facebook and went to say hello.
Nadia Bjorlin (used to be Chloe on Days) and her boyfriend Brandon Beemer (Owen on The Bold & the Beautiful) had to deal with her mother Fary again. Unlike last time, Brandon and Fary were nearly getting along. They were both supportive of Nadia singing the National Anthem at a San Diego Padres game. The last time she had to do the song, it didn’t go well, but this time it was a success. At the end of the show, Brandon gave Nadia a gift of a photo of her performing with her late father.
Those were the highlights of the fifth episode of Dirty Soap, which aired on 10/23/11.
This blog is mainly about soaps, though it will sometimes veer into other topics. The main purpose is to provide a space for when board discussion isn't enough as sometimes my thoughts and feelings take on a life of their own. Even if some of the shows I enjoy have been cancelled, I will continue to post about them. They may take away the shows, but they can't destroy the love.
