This blog is mainly about soaps, though it will sometimes veer into other topics. The main purpose is to provide a space for when board discussion isn't enough as sometimes my thoughts and feelings take on a life of their own. Even if some of the shows I enjoy have been cancelled, I will continue to post about them. They may take away the shows, but they can't destroy the love.

OLTL: Thoughts on Episode 20
Here are my thoughts and a brief summary about episode twenty (June 13, 2013) of One Life to Live.
Dorian and David are having another meal at the coffee shop. She mentions how unsubtle Nora and Bo were with their matchmaking and that's why they weren't invited. David says nothing connects people like a kid does. Dorian thinks about how they would never have a child together and that if he would ever leave her it wouldn't be so he could have a kid.
Matthew, Jeffrey and Dani are looking up information on Michelle and how he plans on going to Toronto to see her. Jeffrey turns on iPad and puts on Nora's radio show. Bo is giving Nora notes as she is giving advice. She gets a caller who has a houseguest who won't leave. Nora explains to take her out to lunch and tell her to go. Another caller was attracted to his boss, and Nora said break it off as the job is more important. Matthew, Jeffrey and Dani are still listening to Nora. Matthew calls in and how he feels attached to puppet strings. Nora gives the advice that if they love him that they will agree to his boundaries and tell them to butt out of his life. Dani and Jeffrey think this situation is kind of amusing, while Matthew gets emotional though he jokes there goes lasagna night. Bo says that Nora needs to be honest with her show. He is proud of her for her work on the show. Dani, Jeffrey and Matthew continue talking Jeffrey says that he should go to Toronto right away. Dani feels that this idea is a bit like something a stalker would do, but he wants to go.
Blair and Todd are on the ground. She's okay, but can't breathe as his knee is keeping her down. Blair is upset as the wall was just painted and now has a bullet hole. Todd and Blair go inside as she wants to close for the night. She tells Cutter they were nearly shot. Bruce, the cop, is disappointed they don't have much information on the shooter. Blair decides they are closed until further notice. Todd says that the OD was to get Dani and the shooting was about her. Todd asks her to come with him and not call the police. He tells her that Victor was involved in some serious stuff with dangerous people as he shows her the monitors. Todd says this about protecting them and shows her the note. Bruce tells Cutter that the mob wasn't involved in the shooting. A uniformed officer comes and asked about the shooting. Todd explains everything to Blair and says that he needs to kill Victor or else they all will be dead. Blair tells Todd she will handle it and talk to Tea.
Bonus with Kassie DePaiva (aka Blair) messing up her lines and then how as she was singing "No regrets" her bra came loose on her.
General thoughts about this episode:
Today felt like a last day of the week episode as it was supposed to be one. It was nice for a change Todd told Blair the truth and they may work together on a project. Matthew, Jeffrey and Dani finding that podcast so quickly was surprising as it was the first show. I did like that they all new that it was Nora and Bo and Nora knew it was Matthew. Dorian and David discussing kids, I wish there had been a line mentioning how they live with Sam as while they aren't his parents they do have a child in their lives.
