There are only nine episodes of One Life to Live left to air. This week we have four shows, and next week there are five. The program is in wrap up phase, but it wasn’t written as an ending exactly. I’m concerned and feeling the end being near. It hit me last week, and the feeling of dread as begun.
Last week, we had the stories end for Cutter (Josh Kelly), Aubrey (Teri Conn) and Kim (Amanda Setton). Cutter is in jail for murder in Kentucky. Aubrey lost Rex (John-Paul Lavoisier) after he found out that Gigi (Farah Fath) was alive. Kim found out her best friend Stacy was truly dead, and her former husband Clint fell back in love with Viki.
Rex and Gigi had a bit of happiness as they reunited and were married by Delfina. Surrounded by their friends and family they said I do at Llanfair. Bo, Nora, Clint, Viki, John, Natalie, Roxy and Shane were all in attendance for the happy couple. Gigi had amnesia, but obviously she remembered everything before the wedding. At least one couple in Llanview looks to be getting a happy ending.
Todd and Blair shared a New Year’s Eve kiss. He has a huge secret from her, as he believes that he’s responsible for his twin brother Victor’s death. Even if he isn’t guilty of that crime, he framed Tomas for it making Blair not believe in the man she was dating. Starr couldn't go out for New Year's with James, but he chose to spend time with her instead of going out to party.
After the wedding, the lights went out all over town. Llanfair, the Buchanan Mansion, and La Boulaie I don’t understand why none of the families have generators in their homes, but I digress. Before Natalie and John could talk about their relationship, he had to back to the police station. He called Bo for help even if he was no longer the commissioner. The episode ended with Natalie screaming and Starr surprised by the person at their door. There was a prison break, and some of the criminals in Statesville have returned to Llanview.
It looks like One Life to Live is ending the show with an adventure story. Hopefully this will be wrapped up before we have to say goodbye.
