Below are my thoughts on November 2018's "Hollyoaks" - this is not sequential.
Joel was back in town for the wedding of Mercedes and Russ, as the priest who was supposed to officiate wasn't available. The ceremony went into mayhem after it was announced that Joel made Goldie pregnant, which was a lie. Goldie aborted the child, as it was Russ's, and all of this came out. Joel and Cleo had a good ending with them kissing one last time, so his last kiss would be with her. We found out that Breda murdered Russ, but the cops first suspected Mercedes, though Breda gave her an alibi and then Goldie.
Prince feared he had cancer after finding a lump. He confided in Romeo, but was scared to tell Lily due to her mother dying of cancer. After hearing about the medical steps he would need to take, he left before finding out if anything was wrong. Lily couldn't take Prince's ignoring her, and slept with Romeo.
We met Romeo's half sister Juliet, and Mac moved the family including their mother Donna-Marie, into Cindy's home. As James found out what Marnie did, she also was living there with Alfie. Romeo hated James again, because he was told the lie that James knew for years and did nothing. Donna-Marie was using drugs, and ODed, so to keep her clean Mac gave them a place to stay.
Tegan's funeral was held, and Leela was still a mess. Louis proposed to her, even though he is married to Martine, and then also slept with Simone in the Price Slice. Lisa came back to Hollyoaks, but left quickly after everything went down with Liam, but more on that later. The Hutchinsons have both girls now, and with Sinead back along with her husband Laurie they have a full house. Laurie is a teacher, and we found out that he sexually harassed or even raped a colleague, but Sinead has no idea. Sinead wanted to become a nurse at Dee Valley Hospital, and got into an argument with Misbah over Tegan's death, after trying to plant liquor in Misbah's stuff. Even with what happened Sinead got the appointment to finish her training there.
Imran was caught for his wrongdoing, and Brooke broke up with him. They didn't believe Yas when she said Imran hit her or Misbah either at first. Sami and Farrah was upset about the truth about their younger brother. In frustration over Ste's verbal attacks on Misbah, as she was only suspended temporarily, and not fired or charged in court for Tegan's death. Imran torched Ste's food truck hurting Ste. It was discovered he committed this crime against someone else, and it couldn't stay quiet. Imran is going to a residential program to get help for his anger.
Darren and Mandy were having a kid, which was making things worse with Nancy. They were fighting over the custody of Darren and Nancy's kids. Brooke and Oliver were in the middle. Maxine decided to go back to being a cab driver without Darren's involvement.
Earlier in the month, Liam held, Grace, Farrah, Maxine, Simone, and Courtney hostage. He wanted to play Russian Roulette with their lives, as one of them poisoned his father, so they should all have to see one of them die as it wasn't Kim. The ladies all said they didn't do it, which actually was the truth as Breda was the culprit. She killed Glenn because he was not a good person.
Peri and Harley were still together, but Tom got the wrong idea and tried to kiss Harley after helping her with her reading.
There wasn't really any moment in the trial through Brody and Damon got into an argument after Damon tried to cheer up his best friend.
Those were
the highlights for Hollyoaks November 2018. The Mercedes focused long episode was good, though surprising to be in November as usually they do the special episodes in the festive period. That said it was sad that Russ died especially for Max, though now he can live with his grans.
