Leo didn't die and he got the ultimate revenge on Sonny and Will, as he forced Sonny to marry him on "Days of Our Lives".
The two day ceremony was played for laughs, as Leo went to Abe to get him to perform the ceremony, but he declined, so Sheila officiated. Sheila wanted the money, and well this side hustle will help pay for her to replace Abe's shoes.
Justin and Adrienne were stunned that their Sonny was marrying Leo, and didn't want it to happen. Once they knew about the blackmail there was nothing they could do. Will and Sonny accidentally injured Leo (thinking they killed him), and rolled him away in a rug. This evidence wasn't going away, and Leo wasn't budging.
Jackson and Leonardo weren't in love, but Leo hoped that someday things would change. He was a better choice than Will, and that's what is important. Sonny wore a regular work suit, while Leo was dressed in a black and white butterfly jacket. Victor came in when the objections would have been, but it didn't stop the nuptials. Though Victor and Sheila sparred, which was a bit humorous.
While I know this story is a bit daft or so it seems, and well inappropriate who should get married for blackmail, at least I'm entertained. I didn't want Will and Sonny to be blissfully happy and together again with no consequences. Perhaps this is the way they will suffer after what happened with Paul though I do hope that Sonny doesn't fall for Leo for real.
