GH: Sam and Drew Wed and other Miscellaneous Thoughts

I already wrote about the whole situation with Genie Francis and "General Hospital", but I wanted to write about some other topics.

The special Ava (Maura West) focused episode had me having flashbacks to "Guiding Light". At least it was a drug-induced dream and not weeks of story told in an episode. The actress playing grown up Avery kind of looked like Ava and Sonny, which at least was good.

Sam and Drew got married on January 22, 2018, and they only had a few guests: Alexis, Molly, Danny, Monica, and Curtis. It as nice that Monica told Drew that she wanted to adopt him, and make him an official Quartermaine, and Danny was adorable. Having Spinelli talk to Jason about the situation was not, as I find it very frustrating how everyone who is team Jason treats Drew like garbage, when there is no reason for that. (If Drew turns bad, well then that's different.) Of course, the whole Sam in bed with Drew and flashbacks of Jason doesn't bode well for them.

So Kiki was to meet Dillon, it didn't happen, and then some other women accidentally answers the phone. That means their relationship is over, and well its over now and we only heard about it and didn't see any of this. I wonder why they did this, and yes "this" is recurring and do not want.

In other news, we finally got to see Lucas after who knows how long, and well he and Brad still want to adopt. This was discussed months ago, and we're to believe they did nothing about it yet. How ridiculous, and this yet another reason why it is nearly impossible for me to support a couple who gets no airtime or story.

Anyway, those are the few things I was thinking about with GH amidst everything else.
