Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis) was written out of "Days of Our Lives" on Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Below are my thoughts.
We haven't been seeing much of Theo in recent weeks, as he was shot, and then in a coma. He woke up at Christmas, and while he got visits from his friends and family.
The character's health wasn't what it should have been, and his legs weren't working properly. He had to go to South Africa for a year to get treatment.
Abby and Chad spent time with him alone, Theo got to meet his new Uncle Stefan also. On his last day in town, Ciara said goodbye, and was in tears. Claire played a song she wrote for him.
As Theo left in a wheelchair pushed by his father Abe, girlfriend Claire, Valerie, Eli, Lani, and JJ sent them off to South Africa. Of course JJ and Eli, being there was all about the triangle and Lani's pregnancy as Valerie knows that they slept together. While Valerie is not a OBGYN, she can do the math.
The character has a lot of story potential, so this situation is a bit frustrating. Ciara just returned to town, and yet we don't get a Ciara, Claire, and Theo triangle, because he leaves. That doesn't make much sense.
Hopefully it is on to bigger and better thing for Kyler and his acting career.
