Thoughts about "Hollyoaks" - December 2017

Here is my rundown post of what's happened on "Hollyoaks" in December 2017. This is not sequential.

Mac has locked-in syndrome, so while he knows Ellie pushed him out the window, he cannot communicate. He is now off-screen in long term care, with little hope of recovery.

Sienna continued to miss Sadie, and became closer to Joel. They've kissed, and she shaved her head due to her cancer treatments. She also has developed a relationship with Scott's mother Maggie, and knows that she also is ailing. Brody found out about Maggie's cancer, as she still wants no relationship with Scott, and keeps her illness quiet. Holly and Damon go out, at Christmas, but she was kidnapped by her mother's stalker Gavin Armstrong. A plan was hatched to get him to go back to the Cunningham flat. Milo killed Gavin, with non-waterproof Christmas lights, as the former police officer, was electrocuted. Holly and Tom knew that Milo wasn't Milo, but didn't do anything about it. Cindy became more attached to Milo, as Dirk moved out over the situation with Holly believing he was a creep who watched the scandalous tape that was made without her permission.

Jesse and Courtney finally admitted their feelings for each other. Jesse told her in a card, which was thrown in the trash. Jesse bought pajamas that matched his for Courtney and the baby girl named Iona. Granny Campbell though continued to make things difficult for them.

Myra told Sally that she cares for Sally, but cannot be involved with her romantically. Sally was glad that Mac paid, but this didn't make her life easier. Cleo still wasn't over Joel, but was too late as he got closer to Sienna. Prince still wanted to be with Lily, but after she rebuffed him, he slept with Peri. Hunter continued missing Neeta.

Tom celebrated his 18th birthday thinking that his parents and brother Max left him nothing, but later realizing he was a millionaire. Darcy seems to want to take advantage of him and steal his money. She's moved in with Jack and the others after being thrown out for lying about her son's paternity. Everyone except little Toby knows now that Adam is playing Daddy to his half-brother. It also was revealed that Grace had an affair with Glenn causing more strife within the Donovan family.

Luke ruined Mark Gibbs' life, and told Mark's wife Jenna about the rape. Jenna walked out on him, and we haven't seen either since. Mandy and Luke had an engagement party on New Year's Eve, though Mandy has no idea Luke is still married and cannot get a divorce from his wife, since he cannot locate her. Darren had to deal with the drug dealers again, and Shane was alive. Luke lied about being Darren, and was beaten up.

Harry's belief that he was Amy's killer, caused issues for Tony and Diane as he told his wife the truth. James wanted to help Harry, while Tony was stuck loving his son, but hating his actions. Tegan realized that Ryan killed someone, but not that it was Amy. She also has no idea that Ryan and Ste had hate sex.

We found out more about the history of the Maalik family, and how their father died. It seems like there has to be more to the story. Imran and Kim became closer friends with Kim living with the family. Imran wanted to make money, and his bike was completely awful. The bicycle broke even further, and then his mother gave him better shoes to make deliveries for Price Slice.

Those are the highlights on Hollyoaks for December 2017. There were some funny bits among the drama, which is always appreciated.
