GH: Pre-empted January 18, 2017

General Hospital didn't air a new episode on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. The last president press conference with Barack Obama was on in the late afternoon.

This news came from Nathan Varni at ABC on Twitter. In some areas, GH aired, but it was the Thanksgiving show instead of a new episode.

While it is frustrating to have another preemption, I'd rather have that then have some people have no or a partial episodes.
