Today CBS preempted The Bold & the Beautiful, while NBC didn’t air Days of Our Lives. So spoilers, which are glossed over in this post for the next issue or two of the soap publications will be wrong.
Even though The Young & The Restless was interrupted, enough of the episode aired that they won’t be on again. General Hospital being at 3 pm eastern did not have this issue. Today’s GH had different background music than what was used on March 5. It was the variation of the theme that was used on the show GH: Night Shift.
Canadian viewers, who get Days a day ahead, will have a rerun or no episode instead of March 6’s episode again. B&B viewers got a rerun in the markets that didn’t have President Obama’s press conference.
Since Days films so far in advance all the premiere dates for returning actors like Lisa Rinna and Charles Shaughnessy are wrong. With B&B, we have to wait yet another day for Hope and Liam to have sex. Haven’t they waited long enough? Sorry, but when I saw B&B wouldn’t be on my first reaction was laughter. Of course, this shifts the 25th anniversary episode, which I actual find to be disappointing as I was looking forward to seeing it.
