Days: Bachelors' and Bachelorette Parties

On "Days of Our Lives", Chad, Abigail, Sonny, and Paul had events on September 27, 2017 celebrating prior to their double wedding. Below are my thoughts on what happened.

Chad and Sonny shared their event, as both have been married in the past. Andre was the host at the Dimera mansion and Justin and Theo were in attendance. It was not the traditional type of stag party. Andre bought them ascots, and it was an odd situation. They wanted poker, Andre wanted bridge. Eventually to help everyone out, Theo said he wanted wings, so they went to the Brady Pub. Andre was invited, but he decided to stay home.

Paul's party was at the pub, and thrown by his older half-brother Brady. John couldn't be there, so he sent along cigars. JJ ordered a male stripper, who ended up being an ex of Paul's named Gil. He was dressed as a catcher, as Paul had been a pitcher in the MLB. Steve and Rafe were also at this party. Eventually the other men, arrived, and they spent the evening together.

Abigail's party was also sparsely attended and held at Club TBD as not even her mother Jennifer could make it due to work. She was given a book with relationship advice. Other than Lani (who is dating her brother JJ) the rest of the guests were all relatives: Hope, Claire, and Kayla. Gil the stripper changed outfits and was dressed as a mailman, for Abby.

While I'm glad that Days had bachelor/bachelorette parties for everyone, they weren't all that festive. I can say I was relieved it didn't turn into a silly cat fight or anything that crazy. Then again, perhaps I find it just awkward seeing Hope and Claire (grandmother and granddaughter) in the same room with a stripper.
