B&B: Goodbye Zende & Thomas

This month, both Zende (Rome Flynn) and Pierson Fodé (Thomas) departed "The Bold and the Beautiful", below are my thoughts about how they were written out of the show.

Zende took a job at Forrester International. His wife, Nicole (Reign Edwards) is going along with him, but she isn't leaving the program. He's going to learn more about design, while she'll doing marketing for the company. I don't know how they will handle Zende, beyond having him in the next room. His last episode was September 8, 2017. There was a story that seemed to be truncated with Maya (Karla Mosely) and Zende, after he defended his sister-in-law in Monte Carlo.

Thomas has been living in New York City, with his young son Douglas, and Caroline (Linsey Godfrey). Bill (Don Diamont) wanted the land the Spectra business was on so badly that he told Thomas that Caroline was dying. Thomas did the "right" thing and left Los Angeles. He never found out that Bill lied about Caroline's illness. Thomas stay in New York, and be with Caroline and Douglas breaking up with Sally and ending his investment in Spectra Fashion. His last episode was September 13, 2017.

So in under a week, B&B lost its two youngest adult male characters as RJ is still a high school student. B&B didn't plan it this way, and it feels like one or both characters will be recast in the future. I wish both Rome and Pierson well in their future careers.
