Thoughts on "The Doctors" - July 1968

Another month's worth of episodes of "The Doctors" has aired on RetroTV. Below are my thoughts on what has aired for the month of July 1968.

Nick, Althea and Penny went camping. The trip was a bit of a disaster due to rain, but everyone got along. Both Nick and Althea realized that they were interested in each other again romantically and kissed more than once. They agreed to try to go camping again. Ed also revealed to Nick about Anna's health. Nick agreed to consult on her case. Althea tried to help Matt and Maggie, but thankfully Nick and Althea could see each other without their friends' problems interfering.

Karen tried to commit suicide in despair over her pregnancy. Carolee and Jody read a letter Karen wrote, and altered Matt, who saved her life. Since Matt just left the house, Maggie has had enough and asked him to move out, so he took a room at a hotel. Karen's pregnancy is nearly common knowledge, but only Steve and Karen know that he is the father. Steve seems to care for Karen or at least for the baby. Liz hasn't been up to much except chatting with Jody about life.

Those are the highlights for July 1968 of "The Doctors". My favorite part of the month was seeing how Penny convinced Nick and Althea to go camping.
