Here is my rundown post of what's happened on "Hollyoaks" in July 2017. This is not sequential.
Mercedes left town for America to get to know her son Bobby, while Jennifer Metcalfe is on maternity leave for a year. Goldie went on the run as she took the blame for Prince's crime, while Chelsee Healey is on leave as well.
Armstrong was discovered after he took Cindy out of town. She was rescued and was okay thanks to Milo who was invited to live with Dirk, Cindy and the rest as a lodger. James and Ryan discovered that Armstrong was also stalking Amy before her death, but decided to destroy the evidence. Holly had planned to go to Ibiza with Nick and still had the tickets. She invited Ellie to go with her. They were joined by Alfie, Tom, Neeta, Sally, and Hunter. They met a guy named Brody, that Ellie liked, but she didn't want anything serious, but he lives nearby. They were staying at a place provided by Jude who stole from Sally, which is why she came along, and why Alfie and Tom could go as Jude is family though Jude was not there. Hunter and Neeta hooked up on the beach, and later in the house, and were discovered by Brody. Neeta finally broke up again with Mac, and Hunter quit working at the pub after getting an advance to go to Ibiza.
Alfie and Tom tried to help Darren by getting rid of the drugs left over by Kyle, but this made things worse with Shane. Now Darren is having to smuggle drugs in his cab. Nancy is trying to be strong, but isn't always successful. Darren ends up running into Luke, who stole money for him. While Darren wasn't happy, he offered Luke a job, and we found out that he was married to Mandy (who is Tom's half-sister, as they share a mum and Tony's former wife.)
Scott met his half-brother at a local pub and befriended him though Damon has no idea who Scott is. Lily can't deal with her literal scars. Shane harassed her, she rebuffed Prince, and then Prince slept with Yasime, who felt they were in a relationship after an afternoon stand. Prince didn't actually want her, but Lily couldn't cope. Tony went to see Ste in prison for Harry's sake, and found out that Ste wasn't taking his HIV medications, which is risking his life. Harry was upset, got drunk and then wasn't allowed to watch Leah and Lucas, and Tegan filled in.
The Lomax gals had excitement too, as Leela told Zack the truth about Daniel. Zack was livid at his father and Leela, but forgave her. Everyone was surprised that Lisa was willing to be a surrogate, so Louis and Simone could have another child. Courtney nearly left town with her granny to move back to Scotland. She hadn't told anyone she was still pregnant, and we also found, she had an earlier miscarriage. Peri has been away during the school holiday.
Marnie got her restaurant reopened after dumpstering herself and allowing it to be recorded. She had harassed the health inspector when they were girls and this was the only way. The McQueens were glad that Marnie could move on and move out of the house.
Kim and Farrah had feelings for one another, which was awkward due to Farrah's job as Kim's therapist. Kim wanted a referral to someone else, but they couldn't keep from kissing. Misbah (Farrah's mother) found out and was upset that her daughter would risk her career for Kim.
There was conflict in regards to little Toby's paternity. He had been rushed to the hospital, and Maxine didn't believe Darcy's voicemail leaving Adam in the dark. They hadn't received Jesse's messages or else they would have arrived much sooner. Eventually they did get to the hospital and were devastated. The guy who was on Toby's birth certificate appeared and said he wanted a payoff to leave Darcy and the boy alone. Adam paid it, and now Maxine and Adam won't have the dream home for their family.
Sienna wasn't feeling well, and had tests which showed she had cervical cancer. She didn't want to risk the lives of her twins for her health. Myra was supportive of Sienna though she had surgery when pregnant with Carmina. Warren was torn, and his relationship with Grace suffered even if it was just sex. Grace was given part of the nightclub back which thrilled her.
Those are the highlights on Hollyoaks for July 2017. I'm hoping that Nancy finds out about Neeta's behavior, because her sister Becca had a child with her student Justin, and it is doubtful Neeta knows Charlie's history.
