B&B: Brooke and Bill Wed

On Friday, May 19, 2017, Brooke and Bill finally wed on "The Bold and the Beautiful". Below are my thoughts on this development.

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Bill (Don Diamont) have tried to get married in the past, but were finally successful. This was a low-key event, the bride wore white, but other than Justin (Aaron D. Spears) who was officiating only four people were witness to the nuptials. Bill invited his sons Liam (Scott Clifton) and Wyatt (Darin Brooks), while Brooke had her son Rick (Jacob Young) and daughter-in-law Maya (Karla Mosley) supporting her. Since it took place in Bill's living room, the guests sat on regular furniture (sofas) instead of borrowed or rented chairs. The couple didn't say I do, but instead one said I do, and the other I will. (Interesting) Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) stayed away, showing restraint for a change, though he felt that Brooke wouldn't go through with the wedding.

Unlike when Quinn and Eric married, people actually came to this ceremony. Also it is good that they didn't have a big event because there was no way for Sally to crash. Not that there was any reason, but that came to mind.

I hope that Brooke and Bill stay married, and it lasts for more than a minute. Ridge and Brooke will always have their history and RJ, but I'm glad she made a decision.
