GH: Silas is Dead

Last week, Dr. Silas Clay (Michael Easton) met his maker on General Hospital. Below are my thoughts on the story so far.

Silas discovered that Ava (Maura West) and Morgan (Bryan Craig) were having sex behind his daughter Kiki's (Hayley Erin) back. Silas had decided to tell Kiki the truth, and was killed before he did the deed. Morgan still has no idea that the woman he is sleeping with is his former girlfriend Ava and not her twin Denise. Denise is a "fake", that was created after Silas saved Ava's life using bone marrow from baby Avery. Silas kidnapped the baby, but no one suspects him as they didn't realize he had a reason for taking her. Nina (Michelle Stafford) stood in front of her former husband's body. She took the knife out after he was dead. Franco (Roger Howarth) came in and tried to protect her. Ava knows all of this and has video footage of Nina with the body.

Honestly I hope this story gets resolved quickly. Silas is dead, and we know the potential killers. Unless they go completely off the map it should be someone in the story. Other than a short-lived relationship with Sam (Kelly Monaco) he didn't have any strong ties to any long running character.

I do wish Michael Easton well as he's had a long run in daytime. He started in the genre over 20 years ago, and amassed many fans from his work both on ABC and NBC.
