Due to her scars, her best friend Mitzi (Anne Sayre) is concerned that Rose isn't up for a party. Rose tells Lucinda (Elizabeth Hubbard) and Lucy (Peyton List) about the engagement. Lucy is happy for Rose, but Lucinda is worried for her. (Bob (Don Hastings) and Kim (Kathryn Hays) are at Isaac's (Paul Taylor) talking about Will (Brett Groneman). Bob and Kim offer to take Will into their home due to Barbara (Colleen Zenk) and Hal's (Benjamin Hendrickson) issues. At first Paul doesn't want to give up taking care of his brother, but eventually decides to find out what Will thinks about the idea.
Abigail (Kristina Sisco) is in the hospital due to being choked. She's with Adam (Craig Lawlor) who loves her, but it is awkward as her feelings seem to be more friendship than romantic love. Jake comes in spends some time with his stepdaughter Abigail. Meanwhile at the courthouse, Mary (Marian Tomas Griffin) goes after Molly (Leslie Kay) with a gun. Mary calls the hospital and says Jake (Tom Eplin) must come with money or else Molly will be killed. (This is the write off story of Jake…)
Episode Two: June 9, 2003
In Montana, Jack tries to make things up to Carly with Hannah's (Sara Ramirez) help. Carly is pregnant with Sage at the time, but the audience doesn't know at this point that Sage is Jack's child. Jack and Carly are estranged, but he provides a romantic night for her, which includes a locket.

She takes him back to Emily and Hal's, and Chris catches them kissing.
Margo (Ellen Dolan) puts out an APB on Dusty (Grayson McCouch) after she finds out that Rose allowed Dusty to go find Spangler (James McCaffrey). Molly is also there and tries to get Rose to see sense, that Dusty betrayed her and most likely is involved with Lily's kidnapping. Dusty begs to be able to get to Spangler as Holden (Jon Hensley). Eventually Holden convinces Rose to speak with a sketch artist to get a picture of Spangler after threatening to keep her away from Lily's family. Lucinda comes in with a coat that has Lily's blood that she received from the kidnappers. Margo shows Dusty the sketch of Spangler, as they sit in the police station.

Julia (Sarah Brown) is engaged to Jack, and promises her son that they'll be with Jack forever. Holden finds out what is going on and lets Julia know. They go through Carly's house and find proof that she left Oakdale, so Julia leaves town to find them. Meanwhile at the barn where Jack and Carly wed, Carly is there in her wedding dress. Hannah had been there, and advised her not to tempt fate, but she would not let it go. Hannah told Jack to go into the barn, and finds Carly. He's upset with her, but as Carly recites wedding vows, Jack beings to remember.

Alison stays and tells him that she loves him regardless of his physical problems.
Jennifer (Jennifer Ferrin) and Mike (Mark Collier) are spending the holiday alone together. They haven't known each other for very long, and are talking about Mike's modeling ad for Street Jeans. Other items they discuss are languages and places around the world. When Australia is mentioned Katie (Terri Conn) is referenced as Mike's ex, though all he wants for her is the best. We then see Katie reading the magazine and seeing Mike in it.

Rosanna and Paul discuss Craig and eventually decide to work together to destroy Craig. While Rosanna was in a coma, Craig took advantage of the situation became involved with Meg and spent her money. During this episode, Craig is arrested for causing Rosanna's accident. He isn't shocked by this turn of events. and tries to comfort Meg. Later, Meg goes to see Paul, while Rosanna is in bed. Craig arrives, but they don't see him. Meg apologizes for upsetting them, and Rosanna says that Meg is wrong about Craig as he is an attempted murderer. Craig then interjects how he is out on bail, and says he is there to take his wife home.

Jack comes home to find Katie in her wedding present, a jersey with the name K Snyder on the back, and they both go to sleep.
Episode Five: September 15, 2010
This episode was the last Wednesday broadcast of As the World Turns. Jack and Carly get married yet again, though this time it is outside. Tom (Scott Holmes) and Margo are late, and Craig (Jon Lindstrom) crashes the party. Sage (Allie Gorenc), Gwen (Jennifer Landon) Rosanna, Holden and Molly (best man and maid of honor) walked down the aisle. Parker brought his mother to Jack. Jack and Carly said their vows, both traditional and their own.
Janet (Julie Pinson) and Dusty were missing, and Liberty (Sarah Wilson) was worried about her extremely pregnant mother. Holden did a speech about Brad and Hal, who are both deceased and had a huge impact on Jack. (Actually they had a huge impact on both Jack and Carly, but I digress.) Molly did as speech, as did Carly and Craig. Craig's speech was surprising as he said that Jack and Carly belong together. Rosanna appreciated his gesture, and hated him less for it.
Jack and Carly danced, and Faith (Valentina deAngelis) asked her dad Holden to dance with Lily (Noelle Beck). Later Holden and Molly danced and talked about how they are friends again. Parker ignored Faith as he was talking with Liberty. Gabriel (Ben Levin) decided to go to Montega, instead of taking his father Craig's career help. They argued, and Rosanna was shocked as she had no idea of their relationship. Rosanna reminded Craig that he needs to give people space to not suffocate them. Before leaving, Gabriel and Craig had a nice moment as Craig wished him well in Montega.
Parker decided to follow in the footsteps of his biological dad Hal and his stepdad Jack and become a police officer. At first, Carly and Jack were upset by this, but they were proud of his decision. Carly accepted it more easily than Jack, and Margo assured them that she had been talking to Parker about his career goal for weeks.
Tom, Will (Jesse Soffer), Gwen and Margo spoke about Casey and Alison. Will let them know that Casey and Alison planned to move to Carbondale. Jack and Carly left the wedding, and we saw Molly at the farm. She was going back to California and wished Holden and Lily good luck. Will and Gwen are also going, and urged Parker to speak with Faith. They discuss how Liberty decided to go to FIT and was leaving Oakdale. Parker and Faith are friends again.
Instead of being able to leave on their honeymoon, Jack and Carly found Dusty and Janet together. Dusty's car was stuck in the mud, and due to his injury he couldn't move it. Janet was in labor, and they weren't able to get to the hospital. Jack and Carly, who both had experience delivering babies in a less than ideal situation, ended up trying to help Janet. Carly started to feel sick to her stomach, and before the show ended it was revealed she was pregnant again.
Out of these five episodes, I think my favorite was Thanksgiving 2004. I just liked seeing Nancy give a holiday speech even if it was at the hospital. I was surprised by the inclusion of Jack and Katie's wedding, a Jack and Carly collection, as I doubt most shippers have any interest in revisiting his marriage to another woman.
This blog is mainly about soaps, though it will sometimes veer into other topics. The main purpose is to provide a space for when board discussion isn't enough as sometimes my thoughts and feelings take on a life of their own. Even if some of the shows I enjoy have been cancelled, I will continue to post about them. They may take away the shows, but they can't destroy the love.
