This is my summary of the second four episodes on the set available from amazon.com entitled "The Bold and the Beautiful -- Most Shocking Moments", which has 15 episodes over two disks.
Episodes One & Two: Numbers 4605 and 4606 (US airdates July 27-28, 2005)
Bridget (Ashley Jones) stops her wedding to Nick (Jack Wagner) because Stephanie (Susan Flannery) has an announcement. She finally admits that she faked having a heart attack.
Mark (Michael Dietz) jumps into Sally's (Darlene Conely) car and he admits how he helped Stephanie fake her illness. Thomas (Drew Tyler Bell) and Gabriela (Shanelle Workman) talk about their situation and Gabriela admits that she loves his grandmother like a grandmother too. Gabriela had grown up in the house as the child of one of the maid's at the house.
Jackie (Lesley-Anne Down) and Massimo (Joseph Mascolo) suspected that Stephanie was lying, but didn't say anything. Taylor (Hunter Tylo) becomes livid when she finds out that Stephanie did this so Ridge (Ronn Moss) would be with Taylor instead of Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Taylor tells Ridge she only wants to be with him, if it is his choice and not based on a lie.
Bridget tells Stephanie to apologize and she refuses, so Bridget cuts Stephanie out of her life. Eric (John McCook) has a suitcase in his hand as he is leaving Stephanie due to her latest behavior. Bridget and Nick decide to go back to the boat, once she hears her Dad Eric leave she decides she wants to see him. Ridge comes in asks where Dad is, Stephanie tells him that Eric left her. After everything that has happened Stephanie still wishes that Taylor and Ridge would stay together.
Episode Three: Number 4628 (US airdate August 29, 2005)
Bridget tells Nick that she lied about having an abortion to test him. She wanted him to choose her not for the baby and tries to get him to forgive her. Brooke tells Eric about the abortion. Brooke then tells Eric how she loves Nick and that Bridget must have seen it. Brooke comes and speaks with her daughter, and Bridget tries to apologize. Brooke is stunned by what she's hearing as the episode closes.
Episode Four: Number 4835 (US airdate June 22, 2006)
Bridget, the maid of honor and Dante (Antonio Sabato Jr.) are kissing and she tells him that he should marry her sister Felicia (Lesli Kay). Felicia and Dante have a family and Bridget doesn't want to ruin that. At this wedding, Bridget and Felicia are both wearing black gowns. Felicia flashes back to seeing her fiance and her sister kissing as she is walking down and at the altar. These memories continue and finally Felicia loses it and calls out her sister. She tells everyone there won't be a wedding today as this is not a day she wants to share with her grandchildren in the future. In frustration, Felicia hits Bridget with the bridal bouquet as Bridget has tears in her eyes.
Stephen (Patrick Duffy) and Taylor say goodbye as he is leaving town. They share a kiss and he goes on his way.
Those are my summaries of the second four episodes on the first disc of "The Bold and the Beautiful -- Most Shocking Moments." I never saw any of these episodes when they originally aired. It feels that at this point the primary focus on the program was on Bridget and her life. Bridget, as the daughter of Eric and Brooke, is one character who when on canvas should have stories be about her life. Since Hope was aged, having Bridget on canvas makes everyone especially Brooke seem so much older, so I wonder if that isn't part of why they haven't recast the role of Bridget again.
This blog is mainly about soaps, though it will sometimes veer into other topics. The main purpose is to provide a space for when board discussion isn't enough as sometimes my thoughts and feelings take on a life of their own. Even if some of the shows I enjoy have been cancelled, I will continue to post about them. They may take away the shows, but they can't destroy the love.
