Thoughts about "Neighbours" - July 2019

Below is my July entry about "Neighbours" for 2019.

Elly came back from her visit with her mother, with a new hairdo, and a baby bump. She and Chloe spent an afternoon together each getting a massage, and Elly had a dream about them kissing. Mark was okay with the idea of Elly and Chloe being friends again, but not that.

Susan was going to get more treatment for her MS. Finn and Bea grew closer and started to date again. Yashvi did a graffiti tour for school, and then made money doing a tour of all of Finn's places during his reign of terror. One of the people on the tour broke into Karl and Susan's house. Bea was there, and Finn hit him.  Ned and Yashvi got closer, but she was upset when Ned didn't come for the special night she planned for them. Ned found out the tour and was upset, but apologized. They then consummated their relationship though Ned had to get rid of the rose petals, as she didn't want her first time to smell like her grandmother's perfume. (Thankfully she is using contraception, so maybe we won't get an unwanted pregnancy for a teenager.)

Gary and Amy's relationship was having issues. Amy wanted another kid, Gary did not. They found out that Sheila and Paul conspired to end their relationship so even though Amy told Kyle, she was going to end it with Gary, she couldn't do it yet. Gary felt like his mother always chose Kyle over him, due to Kyle having feelings for Amy. Paul was attacked and Roxy said that Gary did it. Roxy and Terese were still having issues also. Earlier in the month, Leo wanted to meet his imprisoned half-brother. They didn't talk, but everyone discovered that Paul had a new granddaughter Harlow, who is growing up in the UK. She ended up staying in Erinsborough for now and going to the local school.

Ebonee left and took Pierce's check. She realized that Pierce still had feelings for Chloe, and she had been using money Pierce expected her to use on other things on her sister. Pierce was convinced to do a Bachelor auction, Kyle, and Aaron (who is married) also participated. David gave his money to Chloe to get Pierce, as that was the only way he would talk to her. Aaron ended up with Ms. Punt, and Kyle had an admirer.

The truth about Andrea and Dee was finally revealed. Willow decided to go back to her father, and Heather was discovered. Both Andrea and Heather were in trouble with the law. Andrea nearly killed Dee who fell over an edge of a cliff (though not far, she wasn't seriously injured), and Heather was in trouble for her earlier crimes. Dee had been in hiding as a crime syndicate now caught wanted her dead. That said Andrea was the one who dated the criminal for a short time, not Dee, so they wanted to kill the wrong woman. It came out that Andrea and Dee were twins, due to a DNA test, and Dee had no idea she was adopted. Heather had blocked out being pregnant with two kids, and some nuns separated the girls, so Heather only raised one of her kids. Toadie and Dee got closer, but Dipi was worried, as Toadie still is dealing with his grief over losing his last wife.

Those were the highlights of July 2019. So glad we finally know why Dee and Andrea look alike.
