B&B: Brooke & Ridge are Engaged Again

Today on "The Bold and the Beautiful", Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) agreed to get married again. Below are my thoughts on this development.

Ridge and Brooke love one another, but their reunion has been a bumpy one since he returned to Los Angeles. I think them agreeing to get back together, doesn't necessarily mean they will be happy for a very long time. Brooke moved on with Bill (Don Diamont) while Ridge was out of town. He nursed her broken heart or at least quenched her libido. Once Ridge found out what happened between Brooke and Bill, he was sympathetic to Brooke's sister Katie (Heather Tom) who was Bill's wife. Bill also was trying to get dirt on Ridge, though he was unsuccessful in trying to convince Brooke to stay away from her once and future husband.

B&B has been playing a good amount of scenes between Katie and Ridge that should mean something. They went to the park with their children who are cousins, and he quoted Shakespeare to her.  I'm not sure what I think about Katie and Ridge due to their past history. B&B is known for being incestuous with pairings. This wouldn't be the first time that Katie or Ridge have been involved with people who were dating their relative.

When it comes to Thorsten Kaye being in the role of Ridge, I still seem him as Thorsten Kaye. If anyone sees this as a criticism, please don't as this is "normal" for me. If I was calling him Zach, Ian or Patrick that would be an issue. I think Thorsten does have chemistry with both Heather Tom and Katherine Kelly Lang, which at this point is absolutely needed for this story to continue.
