One video that I've had in my "watch later" list on YouTube for months has been the Days Of Our Lives cast playing Scrabble in 1988. Unfortunately only one episode is online.
The video on YouTube.com linked here is stated as from 1990, but the show was from 1988. Four days actors were playing for the viewers. Judi Evans (Adrienne) and John Aniston (Victor) play against each other in the first round. Matthew Ashford (Jack) and Peggy McCay (Caroline) play against each other in the second round. This was the first time Scrabble had celebrity players according to what the host Chuck Woolery said. Judi and Matthew won their respective rounds and then got to play Speed Word. Judi was slightly faster in that round, so she was able to go for the $10,000. Unfortunately she guessed wrong, and the viewer only got $4,000.
Where I lived, Scrabble was on right before Days of Our Lives, so it was a great way to promote both shows on NBC. Since this was taped off of USA network instead of NBC there aren't any good advertisements from about 25 years ago, but all in all this is an enjoyable watch.
