On Tuesday, October 30, 2012, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) left town with his mother Caroline (Peggy McKay) as she needs treatment for Alzheimer's disease. Peggy McKay isn't leaving Days of Our Lives, but Peter Reckell has, so this story was his write off from the series.

Switched at Birth End of Season One

ABCFamily finally aired the season one finale of Switched at Birth on Monday, October 22, 2012. The 30 episode season began in June of 2011, with hiatuses tossed into the mix, and the new season will begin on Monday, January 7, 2013. On Monday's episode (October 22, 2012) of General Hospital, Jason (Steve Burton) "died". He was in a shootout with Joe Scully (Richard Steinmetz) and Duke or who we assume to be Duke (Ian Buchanan) then shot him. Jason went into the water after falling off the pier.
