Under the influence of drugs, Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) saw his "deceased" wife Robin (Kim McCullough) on the Haunted Star. Robin is thought to be dead by everyone in Port Charles, but the General Hospital character is alive. That mystery was one that has yet to be solved.
Anyway Patrick is on drugs that kids take for ADHD due to his lack of coping skills after his wife died. These pills were samples he stole from General Hospital. Maxie (Jen Lilley who has filmed her last material as Maxie) due to her past involvement with helping an addict was worried about Patrick. She asked him what he was doing and Patrick lied. Then she asked her best friend Lulu (Julie Marie Berman) for help. The two ladies confronted him. He lied again and said it was no big deal. Patrick wasn't addicted and he could stop. Patrick's father Noah abandoned him emotionally due to becoming an alcoholic after his mother died. This was brought up as obviously he shouldn't do that to his own child.
Lulu though was right to continue to worry about Patrick even after Maxie was able to convince him to go with her to the re-opening of the Haunted Star. After Maxie left for the night, Patrick remained. Lulu found him outside and believing she was Robin kissed her. Lulu and Robin other then being female don't look like one another.
Due to this action there is no doubt that Patrick needs help. Robin called out "save me" to Patrick, but the person who he needs to save is himself. He needs to be an active parent to Emma as she's the only one she has left.
While it was nice to see Robin on screen for a few minutes, all it did was make me want to see more. I hope that some day that Robin and Patrick are reunited. I realize the reality of the situation that Kim isn't unavailable to do GH. If the show ends anytime soon (after its 50th anniversary), I hope they allow Scrubs to get back together and be a family with their daughter.
