On General Hospital, Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Tea (Florencia Lozano) had their babies in a storm outside of GH. Unfortunately, only one child survived. Here are my thoughts on the story so far.
Sam is dealing with the fallout of being pregnant and being told the the baby's father is Franco (James Franco) instead of her husband Jason's (Steve Burton) child. Since Jason and Franco are fraternal twins and Heather Webber (Robin Mattson) knew about the paternity test, it is possible Sam was lied to about the results. Heather wants Sam to pay, and that would be a way to do it.
On the other hand, Tea's pregnancy is a miracle as her husband Victor (Trevor St. John) died before she realized she was pregnant. The child was the one thing she had left after Victor's murder. Of course, Tea has no idea Victor is alive, and being held captive, but I digress.
On this fateful night, Sam went into labor in the hotel she was staying at and John (Michael Easton) delivered the baby. Meanwhile in the rain, Tea went into labor and Todd (Roger Howarth) delivered her child, who was in distress. John left to get help for Sam, and was beat up due to Jason asking one of his associates to do it. If this hadn't happened, the baby switch would have been avoided as Sam and her son would have gotten to the hospital right away instead of Todd and Heather finding the baby. Todd didn't want to lie to Tea, but Heather made her believe the baby was hers and that was that. Sam was horrified to find out that her child was dead, but said to Jason it wasn't her baby that was with her. Jason thought Sam was imagining things, but Sam is right it isn't her baby. Both Sam and Tea decided to name their sons after their husbands.
When it comes to this material, well I'm not happy about it. It is ironic how One Life to Live characters appear on General Hospital and then their children end up dead, first Starr's (Kristen Alderson) daughter Hope and now Tea's son. Port Charles is a dangerous place for kids as even natives lose their kids, but enough with the dead children.
