Y&R: Six Random Thoughts for March 2018

Since "The Young and the Restless" had a short (two-day) hiatus for March Madness, I'm going to do a post about some stuff I'm thinking about the show.

  1. Devon and Hilary decided to have a child together without romance, but as a business agreement. (Was someone watching old edits of episodes of "Santa Barbara" on YouTube?)
  2. At least Nikki is having sex, even if it isn't love with Arturo, though what does he get from it? Is it the thrill or something else? I want to see his POV.
  3. Victoria and Jack working together to get Ashley out of Newman, and Abby figuring out what they did and telling Victor. Why would Victoria leave evidence on a phone log that Abby could access that was so obvious and idiotic? She should have been smarter than that.
  4. Having Nick and Christian move in with Sharon, was weird. Are they trying to consolidate sets? Why wouldn't he find a place of his own, will he eventually become the landlord of the housing development they are fixing and move in there?
  5. The episode where Victor made believe he was Dina's date was sweet. It was nice to see him treat someone kindly that wasn't a child.
  6. Lily quitting Newman made sense, though it was good seeing her with people who aren't members of her family. Hope that continues regardless of her job.
So those are my thoughts about Y&R, the 45th anniversary is this month. Hopefully there will be some decent celebrations for the program.
