"The Young and the Restless" has spent a lot of time dealing with the aftermath of Delia's death. The seven year old died in a hit-and-run accident late last year, and hopefully this story will come to a close or at least make some positive progress.

Books about TV: TV Tie-Ins

"TV Tie-Ins" is a scholarly work that explores the evolution of paperback books that were written about particular programs. Written by Kurt Peer, it features both the history of these books (until 1990) along with a master list of every book that was found within this genre. Since this was published in the late 90s, all of this research was a lot more difficult to come by compared to how it could be done today.

Days: Pre-Emption Reminder

Days of Our Lives won't be on Thursday, February 20 due to the NBC Olympics coverage. The women's ice hockey gold medal game will air. The two teams playing are the US and Canada.

Days: Will & Sonny Engaged

Valentine's Day meant love for Will and Sonny as they agreed to wed. As part of the press around this story, the duo played by Guy Wilson and Freddie Smith did an interview with "The Advocate" discussing Days of Our Lives.

Today on "The Bold and the Beautiful", Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) agreed to get married again. Below are my thoughts on this development.

GH: New Opening Theme

Today (Wednesday, February 5, 2014), General Hospital changed their theme song. The graphics haven't been updated at this time.

Y&R: Carmine's Murder

The Young and the Restless finally resolved the murder of Carmine Vasco (Marco Dapper). The character wasn't actually dead, but in witness protection.

Soap Stars in Other Places: Shop 'Til You Drop

Recently I watched a special holiday episode of the game show "Shop 'Til You Drop". This particular episode was from 1993 and included people who were on soap operas at the time (Victoria Rowell and Brad Maule.) Here is a link and below are my thoughts on this program.
