Thoughts about "Neighbours" August 2019

Below is my August entry about "Neighbours" for 2019.

Elly and Chloe started dating, but then it became too intense for Elly so they are no longer together.

There was a concert series at the complex, Jess Glynn and Hanson were there along with other acts I never heard of being from another part of the world. Bea was able to sing with one of the bands involved, and had a mini-concert. She nearly missed performing due to Finn getting in trouble due to hitting crazy stalker guy previously. The family wasn't happy with Bea and Finn dating, but at least Finn only got temporary house arrest. Before the month was over, Finn was even off of that.

Ned and Yashvi were still dating, Shane wasn't happy about it, as Vi preferred hanging out with her boyfriend instead of her father. Shane criticized Vi and she asked for a test do-over as she was so upset. Her parents offered her a car if she stayed at the family home and passed her exams, though she knew that she couldn't stay with Ned.

Gary and Amy's relationship finally ended though Amy was staying at the Canning House. Amy and Kyle had grown closer, and Kyle surprised Amy by arranging for her to meet Hanson. They played her favorite song and they danced. Kyle and Amy were together, but trying not to make it harder for Gary. Sheila found evidence which she thought implicated Gary in the attack on Paul, and hid it. Now she was in trouble with the law, but Vance did it. Roxy admitted the truth, and Gary was freed of course (though this was before the Amy and Gary break up). Sheila felt like no one cared about her, and ended up nearly dying in the bush.

Terese and Paul were still planning their wedding, even with Harlow around and two of Paul's former wives. Roxy destroyed Terese's dress after trying it on which was a bad sign. Earlier, Harlow and Roxy were given Hermoine to share. Roxy's got it detailed to have her name on it, and then Harlow changed some of the text on it. Harlow's grandmother Gail dated Gary, and wanted Harlow to join her in Tasmania.

Leo was tricked out of the money for the bar, by one of Vance's cousins, after Roxy turned on him. Kyle and Aaron couldn't help financially. Mark was investigating, but couldn't fix things either. Roxy and Mark were arguing, but they became bed buddies. Mark wanted this to stay a secret, and told Roxy to call him "the Doctor" in her phone, and she has no idea what "Doctor Who" is. Of course, the Doctor is currently played by a female actress, so this perhaps could freak out Roxy.

Heather and Andrea were now going to spend time in jail. Dee and Toadie grew closer, but Toadie wasn't ready for anything else. Dee left Erinsborough, and said goodbye, but there is always a chance they could try again in the future.

As the month ended Elly fell, and we don't know if she and her baby are okay.

Those were the highlights of August 2019. The story with Paul's past probably would be more enjoyable for me, if I actually had the decades long history with the character. So I am hoping long term viewers appreciate it.
