Thoughts about "Hollyoaks" - September 2018

Below are my thoughts on September 2018's "Hollyoaks" - this is not sequential.

So this month of Hollyoaks was outstanding, and I seldom say that. The reveal of Buster being a pedophile, and how Ollie and Brody dealt with it, wow. It was so awful, and so good. The end of the month, saw Luke being sent away for beating Scott after believing he abused Ollie. Having Luke bring Ollie to the place where he was raped, made it even more intense. Scott got out of the hospital from Luke's beating, and tried to support Brody and Ollie. Damon did not believe his father was guilty initially.

Sienna is back in town, and Nancy wants to use her to help destroy Darren, as Darren and Nancy's marriage is over - as everyone knows Darren and Mandy were hooking up behind everyone's back. The only humor of the situation was when Tom hit Darren for cheating on Nancy, and hurt his hand. The breakup between Darren and Nancy was hard to watch as well - and this will be difficult for the kids, and Brooke. Brooke now is a permanent foster child with Nancy.

The school reopened after the explosion though Glenn's behavior appeared on a banner at the school. Glenn had an aneurysm, but got to the hospital and survived. Jesse didn't understand why everyone wanted Glenn dead. Harley wrote a good letter about going back to school, and her and Peri were going to attend. The younger kids started school there and Leah was excited.

Hunter and Asha came back to the village after their time away. When they were alone having fun, Hunter called Asha, Neeta.

It was discovered that Yasmine was drugging Imran to make him more calm. He nearly overdosed, and Sami has no idea that it was Yasmine and not Misbah. Imran attacked Yasmine and left her bruised, while Misbah may get in trouble with the hospital.

Tony came back after there was an appeal online and door-to-door looking. Tony had been with an ex-girlfriend, and lied that his daughter died. Ste got him home, but Diane told Tony that while she was glad he was back, they were not together. James was upset over Harry, and told the kids about the baby switch. Tegan had told him, as she didn't want DeeDee to have chemotherapy - as that may hurt more than harm. Eventually Harry told James, he loved him too, and they got back together, even if Harry was upset about the twins story getting out.

Ellie and Holly left town together. Ellie nearly went to prison for injuring Mac, but Alfie's medical condition was used against him. Mac was alive, and back in town though in a wheelchair. Mac and Alfie moved in with Cindy. Marnie sold The Dog in the Pond, and Russ gifted it to Mercedes. The dog now is home to a lot of karaoke and bingo.

Those were the highlights for Hollyoaks this month. It was very emotional like I said at the top of the blog post. I doubt it will be as intense in October, but they can try.
