So Days brought Nicole and baby Holly back, so Nicole could die on screen. The character had to marry Xander (Paul Tefler) due to his blackmail though this happened off screen. Eric (Greg Vaughn) continued to love her, but thought she left because she said she didn't love him. The truth was Brady (Eric Martsolf) forced her as he had a recording that Xander was now in possession of. So basically the last few months of Nicole's life were all about how she killed Deimos, while drugged. Anyway, so Eric and Nicole had some happy moments, before everything fell apart. They planned a life together, but the space in the building was too small for an adult. We heard the noise, and knew she as gone. At least while Sami (Ali Sweeney) was there, they acknowledged that Sami didn't like Nicole though she loved her brother. Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) was using Xander and paying him to help her hide people, some of whom were thought to be dead, though Dr. Rolf was helping and fully well and alive again.
Nicole's death I think can do a lot of things, some of them are below.
- Eric is not going to be longing for someone living, so he can move on to another relationship.
- It gives the show another small kid, and she should probably end up with her Grandmother Maggie, and not Eric, but I digress.
- Eric now has a real reason to never forgive Brady, and Brady may not forgive himself, as Holly won't have a mother, she can remember just like Brady lost his mom at an extremely young age.
- This may bring Sami and Eric back together, as they both have to deal with losses.
- Brady being so cut-off from his family may have him continue to act out in ways that won't be that great.
