Today, the confirmation hearing of Judge Kavanaugh aired on the major networks. Below is what happened with the US soaps.
ABC preempted General Hospital nationally on September 27, 2018. NBC decided that if someone wanted to see Days of Our Lives, they could watch it online, on demand or hope they found out their local station was airing it overnight. CBS didn't air The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless, but Y&R aired in Canada, so they are technically two episodes ahead. We'll see if they get a rerun sometime soon.
