Here is my rundown post of what's happened on "Hollyoaks" in October 2017. This is not sequential.
Neeta and Mac's relationship continued to be ugly, as her seeing Hunter was revealed. Sally as a responsible educator had to call the police on her best friend. Neeta denied what she did, but then admitted it. Hunter loved her, and gave her, his mother's ring.
Joel and Cleo's relationship fell apart, after Cleo's pregnancy was revealed. Joel wanted to take Cleo and leave, but was arrested. After finding out that Warren and Joel were involved with Bart's death, Cleo decided to have an abortion. Joel blamed his father for what happened. Warren kidnapped Sienna who has cancer and is still pregnant with the twins.
Grace's former stepfather (her brother's dad) was in town. They had a past, and still shared romantic feelings they were keeping from everyone else. Glenn had promised to get rid of Darcy, but she said he was the father of Adam's "son". Courtney and Jesse moved in together as friends, and to raise her child (his niece or nephew). Tegan lied and said she had feelings for Jesse.
Leela continued to blame Zack for her son's illness. He wasn't a shaken baby, but had a disease that needed a blood transfusion. Leela considered giving her son away due to what happened.
Milo got Cindy in trouble with the law, when he tried to get Dirk for selling illegal DVR boxes, which happened to have porn on them. Frankie and Esther showed part of one of these vids at a kids' party. Johnno Dean returned and tried to lure Frankie back into his life of performing.
Tony found out about Ste and Harry's relationship. The audience was told that Ryan was the murderer, but no one in town figured out that Harry isn't guilty. Scott had another breakdown, and was found by Damon and Brody before he was able to make another suicide attempt. Damon wanted to be there for his half-brother.
The Maalik kids found out that their father committed suicide in prison. Yasmin found out her friends were cutting and wanted to tell the truth, as she did not enjoy it. Peri and Lily felt it gave them control.
The dedication at the school in honor of Jade became the show's latest stunt. There was a fire and explosion. Everyone was in peril, but survived. Luke was with Darren, who was out of prison. Alfie, Tom, Peri, and Lily were trapped. Neeta fell, and Mac was holding on to her. Hunter found them, and told Neeta he loved her, she said the same. Mac let go of her hands, and she fell. Under pressure Louis kept Peri calm, Leela was so impressed they kissed during the school catastrophe.
Those are the highlights on Hollyoaks for October 2017. Having the stunt in the middle of the week surprised me, and I will be able to finish writing about the rest in the November summary. I hope that Ryan is caught before the end of 2017.
