Days: Bonnie Flees Salem

On "Days of Our Lives" Bonnie (Judi Evans) fled Salem after her schemes were discovered.

Bonnie Lockhart didn't plan to take over Adrienne Johnson Kiriakis' life, but when presented a get out of jail free card, she took it. Angelica (at this point played by Morgan Fairchild) got her released, by replacing Bonnie with Adrienne. Angelica wanted Justin (Wally Kurth) back and planned to use Bonnie to do it, but she died before that could happen. All Bonnie had done with break Lucas's (Bryan Datillo) heart, which caused him to fall off the wagon, and moved back in with Justin.

Bonnie decided she enjoyed being out of prison and cooked up a scheme of her own. She decided that since she was in the Kiriakis Mansion anyway that she wanted to land the big fish: Victor (John Aniston). Considering Victor is married to Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), who she cannot stand, due to the late Mickey Horton, this would be the perfect revenge. Bonnie overhead Victor talking on the phone about conspiring to kill Deimos, and decided on blackmail. There were fantasies where Bonnie made Maggie her maid, and such.

Meanwhile Adrienne was in prison, and no one believed that she wasn't Bonnie. She was put in solitary, and wasn't allowed visitors or phone calls. Adrienne missed her son's interrupted wedding ceremony, and everything else going on like her nephew Joey going to prison after admitting being a murderer. Eventually she met Sheila (Tionne Watkins) and Sheila went to the mansion, as she was paroled. Bonnie said she'd pay Sheila, so she kept Bonnie's secret even if it was wrong. To keep her nearby, Bonnie said that Sheila was the new maid. (Sheila and Eli grew up together, and he used that relationship to get her in prison.) Adrienne had some unsuccessful phone calls, one Bonnie intercepted, and another Lucas, who was drunk received. Sonny took the phone, and was interrupted before they could speak.

Bonnie thought she won, when Victor drew up divorce papers, and Maggie signed them. The whole thing was a hoax, she was smart enough to know his officiant was a fake, and Sheila was to do it. Brady ended up being the witness for the wedding, but Maggie showed up and said it couldn't happen as Victor and Maggie were still married. Steve and Kayla figured out that Bonnie was acting as Adrienne, and Bonnie ran. The couple went to the prison to try and released Adrienne, while Justin visited her. The prison didn't believe it, but eventually they will have to let her go home.

Bonnie ran, as did Sheila, who wanted Bonnie's pin (which had been a gift from Mickey). Sheila agreed not to take it, and they both went their separate ways out of town. We don't know the location of either woman, though I hope Sheila doesn't get blamed and have her parole revoked.
