GH: Short Summaries of Six Marathon Episodes

Below are my short summaries of six of the episodes that aired on the GH50 marathon on SoapNet this weekend. These covers the episodes that aired between 1983 and 1993.

GH: In an Early 80s Haze

I've been catching up on the General Hospital marathon viewing the late 70s and early 80s episodes. I feel like I'm in a time warp or some sort of haze. Below are my general thoughts on the episodes from 1979-1981 that were in this weekend's marathon.

GH: 50th Anniversary Marathon

The 50th Anniversary marathon for General Hospital began airing tonight. Unfortunately many of us no longer have access to Soapnet.

TV on DVD: Magic City

Magic City is the latest show that I've completed watching on DVD. The series, which aired on Starz in 2012 had an eight episode first season, and another season scheduled to air later this year.  This entry summarizes what has happened in the story.

Y&R: Happy 40th Anniversary

Today (March 26, 2013) is the 40th Anniversary of "The Young & The Restless". For this special day, CBS included it during their game shows, and Entertainment Weekly posted a clear copy of its first episode from 1973. On Monday, "The Talk" also aired an interview with some cast members.

GH: So Long Lulu

The Friday, March 22, 2013 of General Hospital seems to be the last episode in which Julie Marie Berman appeared as Lulu Spencer Falconeri. The Daytime Emmy Award winning actress had decided to try new things in her career. This entry has speculation along with casting information.

GH: Goodbye to the Llanview Three

Thursday, March 20, 2013 was the last day the so-called Llanview three appeared on General Hospital. This is a quick write-up about their departures.

Recently I viewed the first season of Due South on DVD. The program lasted four seasons in the 90s, but was more popular in its home country of Canada and the United Kingdom than in the United States.

Days: Gabi & Nick Wed

On Friday, March 15, 2013, Nick Fallon (Blake Berris) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) married in the Horton living room. The duo had tried to wed earlier, but the ceremony was interrupted by Chad (Casey Deidrick) during the show's 12,000 episode.

Dallas on TNT: J.R.'s Masterpiece

On Monday, March 11, 2013, Dallas on TNT aired the episode focusing on the death of J.R. Ewing (Larry Hagman). This episode not only continued the plot, but was also a tribute to Mr. Hagman who passed away after a long battle with cancer in late 2012.

AMC & OLTL Premiere Date Announced

Yesterday (Monday, March 11,  2013) the news came out that All My Children and One Life to Live will have new episodes starting on April 29 (at 12 pm ET).

GH: The Vampire Story
