This blog is mainly about soaps, though it will sometimes veer into other topics. The main purpose is to provide a space for when board discussion isn't enough as sometimes my thoughts and feelings take on a life of their own. Even if some of the shows I enjoy have been cancelled, I will continue to post about them. They may take away the shows, but they can't destroy the love.

Family Feud: Days versus Passions from 2000
I recently found an episode on YouTube of the Louie Anderson hosted Family Feud with the casts of Days of Our Lives and Passions. Here are my thoughts on this particular episode.
The Days cast was Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe), Austin Peck (Austin), Greta (Julianne Morris), Bryan Dattilo (Lucas) and Jason Cook (Shawn Douglas). They are playing for Hollywood Habitat for Humanity. During this, Louie asks about the characters and Nadia mentions how she isn't a fully good or bad girl, and perhaps misunderstood (which fits today). Bryan calls Lucas weird as he's hurt his son. The Passions cast was Kim Johnston Ulrich (Ivy who she called the matriarch of the show), Eva Tamargo (Pilar who said her character is so nice that she's bored), Molly Stanton (Charity), Josh Ryan Evans (Timmy, who spoke about working on the The Grinch), and Jesse Metcalfe (Miguel). They played for St. Margaret Mary's school in the South Bronx, which was near to the heart of the show's creator (Jim Reilly).
In this version of the Feud, the casts played for 10,000 for charity money. The Passions team won and played Fast Money. Kim and Molly answered the questions, but didn't win the big money. They were given 2,500 for winning the episode, this show was taped at NBC studios in California. Unfortunately there are no video clips on YouTube.com from when the casts of Bold & the Beautiful and the Young and the Restless appeared on Family Feud when Louie Anderson was the host.
