Thanksgiving 2019 in Soapland

Due to preemptions Thanksgiving 2019 in Soapland was a bit of a mess, and many shows had the holiday after the holiday.

The Bold and the Beautiful had characters talk about Thanksgiving being the next day, but there was no true Thanksgiving episode. Also this aired after the holiday. All we knew was that the kids would be together, so Liam and Thomas would have to get along Since we didn't see it, we don't know what happened, or if people argued, and who had to say nice things about each other.

Days of Our Lives did not preempt, but due to holiday programming had Thanksgiving before and after the day. This was after the time jump, and everyone was acting accordingly. For example, Justin and Kayla are a couple, and discussed moving in together. There wasn't much holiday spirit, seeing Eve and Hattie eating at the prison, or finding out Steve is Stefano and spending time with Gina. There was a meal at the Kirakis mansion and Ciara skipped it to visit Ben at the prison, who saw his father Clyde trying to stab Will and stopped him.

General Hospital aired on Thanksgiving, but the main Q Thanksgiving was on the Monday after. Main stories over Thanksgiving included Alexis getting kidnapped by Kendra, who tried to kill her with rat poison, due to Kendra thinking Alexis intentionally drove over her brother, Mike having issues with his health and memory upsetting his family, and Brad admitting to Lucas that Wiley isn't the baby they adopted before a big crash. Anna hosted Thanksgiving at her home, and Violet with Finn was there as were Robert, and Andre. The Monday after was a bit more Thanksgiving like with the Qs having pizza. This year it was because Monica donated the perfectly cooked turkey provided by Olivia to the hospital so "Drew" could have one true Q Thanksgiving with pizza and the song. Lulu and Brook thought. Both Epiphany and Liz were working, Lucas was working, but found a replacement, before the car accident.

The Young and the Restless aired Thanksgiving the week of Thanksgiving, but originally it was supposed to air before the holiday. Mariah helped Sharon before joining friends off camera, Lola, Elena, Nate and Amanda were there along with Rey. The Newmans had Thanksgiving together including Summer, Chelsea, Nick, Victor, Nikki, Billy and Victoria - the kids were there but not seen. They visited the animals, but the adults wore paper crowns (which I thought was a Christmas thing not a Thanksgiving one.) The Abbotts Thanksgiving was not shown, but Abby was with them as her mother and Dina were in attendance. Phyllis saw Adam and they shared Chinese.
