GH: The Intervention

On Thursday, April 28, General Hospital staged an intervention for the character of Luke Spencer (Tony Geary). The character had hit rock bottom due to his alcohol use. During the 3 PM eastern broadcast of the program, there was a pre-emption for a Presidential speech, so I watched the episode in full on the same day SoapNet airing.

Books on TV: Boob Tube

Thanks to Soap Opera 451 for the book suggestion entry. Here is a direct link to their entry on it. Boob Tube is a 2010 ebook novel by Mark and Lesleyann Coker. The story takes place in LA in the soap opera industry. The plot is fictional, but inspired by real life.

The topic has been trending on twitter, go on Facebook or look around message boards and alas it is no longer a rumor. I had scrapped what I was planning on writing and posted this instead. AMC: Angie has a baby

This entry is through April 1st episode of All My Children. This past week, Angie Hubbard gave birth to a baby. Sadly the child was stillborn. I’m still processing all of this, but I wanted to write about my thoughts at this point.
