Thoughts about "Neighbours" - October 2019

Below is my October entry about "Neighbours" for 2019.

Bea was shocked by a cable to her amp, and was hospitalized. Her heart now beats irregularly. Scarlett continued to be unhinged, but by the end of the month she was gone. She broke up Yashvi and Ned, and got Ned to sleep with her. Scarlett also lied about being stalked, having a job history in the hotel business and more. Scarlett got Ned to go away with her at Halloween. In a maze, and a wedding dress, she got upset when Ned wasn't ready to get married. (They didn't even know each other for three months.) Ned was stabbed, and Bea and Yashvi arrived, with V also getting stabbed. Scarlett discovered about a camera being in the hotel, and was blackmailing Paul to keep quiet. Now that Scarlett was caught, would the video of Amy and Kyle be released? Terese had kept the recordings three years ago quiet, but what would happen now.

Elly was back, her life fell apart with the news as Sean was thought to be dead in Switzerland. He went hiking, an avalanche hit, and his body was not found. Finn was devastated over this as he could not leave the county.

Mark left town to take care of their mother, due to Parkinson's and Chloe went with him for a short time. Mark and Roxy's relationship ended, but it wasn't that serious. Clive cheated on Beverly with Sheila, and David and Aaron were stuck in the middle. David working at the hospital felt guilty about it.

The Melbourne Cup came to Erinsborough, and it went missing. Roxy and Harlow found it in their car. They took some fun photos and returned it, but not before everyone became worried.Hendrix caused a lot of trouble, and early in the month, he didn't understand consent after having a party spending his Dad's money on drink, and drove a car accidentally into Harlow, who was not seriously injured.

Mackenzie found out about what Shane did and was really hurt. Mackenzie already had to deal with her father not loving her enough to accept her. He came to the dance, but hid himself as he could not face dancing with his daughter like he promised. Kirsha wanted to go away to school. Toadie was helping her.


Those were the highlights of October 2019. The Ned/Scarlett story was told so quickly, so I can't complain on it being dragged overly long.
