AMC week of April 28 2008

Since this is the first week of this kind of summary, I'm going to have previously and this weeks...in the future that may not be the case.

Previously on AMC...

Erica got a shock when other inmates were scared she was a diva bitch, but really wanted her to help them get a new beginning. She and Carmen took a list of ways to help and enlisted Jack and Samuel Woods to help them. Protesters came to the prison to try to free Erica. B5 even appeared to show their support singing "Erica Cain". The warden was so frustrated over the protest and Erica wanting to aid other people that she put her in solitary confinement.

This week...

Erica had to deal with the horrors of being in solitary confinement wearing a hideous orange jumpsuit. At first, she was calm and thought about doing a new episode of "New Beginnings" than she saw herself lounging with Kendall in Europe and having a romantic dinner with Jack. With those illusions shattered, she heard voices from the past including her dear departed mother Mona, and wondered why all the men in her life abandoned her. We heard their voices as well, and saw some old clips of her with Bianca, Kendall and Josh. Erica hung out with a ladybug she dubbed Gwendolyn. Once it flew away, she even became more upset.

Carmen called in the calvary to save Erica from solitary. Jack came to the prison, so did Samuel Woods. Samuel got to her first and carried her out of her lonely, dark cell. Threats were thrown at the warden that what happened to Erica cannot happen again. She saw a doctor at the jail, and then went back into the general population. Erica admitted to Jack that solitary was difficult, and her new friends were glad she was back with them.

Previously on AMC...

The fall out from Kendall sleeping with Aidan continued, while Greenlee was blissfully unaware. Kendall and Zach burned the shack where Aidan and Kendall had sex. Zach also channelled Michael Vartan's Alias character of Michael Vaughn by showing his love of ice hockey by wearing an NHL jersey to bed. In actuality, Thorsten Kaye who plays Zach was just showing some love to his favorite NHL team the Detroit Red Wings.

This week...

Zach gave generously to the fire department, so he and Kendall would not get in trouble for burning down the shack. Zach also gave Tad money as it was his building. From Zach, Tad finds out that Aidan took a job offer at Cambias. Tad isn't too happy that Aidan no longer wants to be his private eye partner. Aidan assures Tad that he will be fine. It isn't possible that Kendall would tell Zach about shack sex.

At Fusion, Greenlee was stunned to find out what Kendall and Zach did. Greenlee still suspects that something is wrong, but doesn't know about Kendall having sex with her fiance Aidan. Later, Greenlee got a blank check from her daddy Jack for her wedding to Aidan.

News came from Dafur, Sudan that a Cambias employee has been kidnapped and wanted for ransom. Since rescue is Aidan's kind of work, Zach called Aidan in to do the job. Josh and Kendall caught up and he filled her in on the hostage situation. Kendall questions Zach for wanting to send Aidan on this mission to a war zone and assumes it is about shack sex.

Greenlee and Kendall convinced Zach to pull Aidan from the rescue mission. Finding out that Tad's brother Dr. Jake Martin was the hostage changed everything. Aidan decided he had to go, and Zach had to let him. Jake has to operate on the captain or else he will die before Aidan gets to the Darfur region of Sudan.

Aidan and Zach agree that no one can know that it is Jake that is in trouble, not Jonathan, not Kendall and especially not Tad. Zach calls Ryan. Greenlee prepares a romantic evening for her and Aidan, but he has to get ready to leave for Africa. Greenlee fears that this will be the last time she will see Aidan alive.

Previously on AMC...

Annie plotted to get Ryan to become closer to her even if he can't remember the last four years of his life. After Julia and Kate left, Annie trashed her home with Ryan claiming that someone broke into their home.

This week...

Annie relived the fake burglary and had an asthma attack when Ryan asked for more details. At Fusion, Babe questioned her about the bandage on her forehead. Babe agreed to not tell the others about what happened to Annie and wondered if Richie was responsible. Richie wonders how he got Hep A, and Opal assures him that he needs to be careful. Then Ryan went to Opal's to see Richie. He didn't recall Richie, but Opal sure was glad to see Ryan as it was the first time since Ryan has had amnesia. Ryan told Opal that he couldn't have forgotten her and then warned Richie to stay away from Annie and Emma. Richie came to Fusion and told Annie he knows she is up to something. Ryan told his therapist that he is glad to be back with Annie and Emma. Ryan suggests they go on a family vacation, which thrills Annie. She plots to get fired from Fusion.

Previously on AMC...

Cassandra (Angie's adopted daughter) decided to return to the US from Paris, France to make Angie's family complete and has a special stuffed elephant. The Hubbards saw what was in Jesse's coffin all these years: a stuffed elephant. Rob Gardner wants what is in the elephant.

This week...

Angie goes to pick Cassandra up at the airport, while Jesse makes a hot and spicy chili. He questions Frankie about his sister. Cassandra and Jesse are both worried about their first meeting. Frankie and Cassandra bonded as it seemed like they hadn't seen each other since Frankie returned from Iraq. She asked him to not do that again. Frankie wished to see her poetry, but as usual she wouldn't share it. They also talked about Jacob aka Jesse's lookalike who Angie was with when they found baby Cassandra.

The IRS shows Jesse love since he has been declared alive by asking him for back taxes. Angie shows him some love, by reminding him that they have to get remarried. Jesse and Angie separately ask the kids to stand up for them at their wedding. Later, Cassandra tells her mom that she has yet to fall in love, while Jesse and Frankie are at the hospital. Frankie the dutiful son gives his father a check up and notices scars on Jesse's back. Angie and Jesse share a moment alone at home without the kids.

Frankie takes his sister Cassandra to the Comeback where they run into Dre and Colby. Dre and Colby talked about their non-existent love live, but that may be about to change.

Rob Gardner calls around to find the missing elephant not knowing it is under Cassandra's bed. He breaks into their home to look around, but Cassandra and her new friend Colby appear. Colby invites Cassandra for the night, as Cass admits that it is kind of weird that Jesse looks like Jacob.

Previously on AMC...

Adam is worrying JR and Colby. He has been having panic attacks and now is imagining things. Could it be guilt for keeping Kate from Tad or is it something else?

This week...

Adam admits to JR that he's been hearing "You are my Sunshine" which was the song that Dixie sang to JR as a child. A repairman came to fix the sound system, but that wasn't a problem. JR takes a meeting for his father, and Colby wonders if their dad has lost his mind.

Adam has a picture of Dixie that came out of nowhere and accuses JR of putting it in the mansion. Meanwhile Tad gets upset at his office after losing his photo of Dixie. Krystal reassures Tad and tells him that it feels like a change is coming soon. While at the Tad's office, Krystal got a call from JR. He needs help to try to get through to Adam, but it was to no avail. Adam eats a document that would let Tad know that Kathy is really his daughter Kate. Tad, Krystal and JR leave and Adam sees the deceased Dixie in the mirror.
